Local residents attend Student Government Day

Students who were selected to represent their schools at the 61st annual Ocean County Student Government Day, cosponsored by the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Ocean County American Legion and Auxiliary, were presented with certificates of participation.

Representing Jackson Memorial High School were: Ivan Kavoleff, Vinny Manco, Ashley Geiser and Melissa Drennan.

Representing Lakewood High School were Ciara King, Mary Elliott, Scott Walters and Danielle Ambridge.

And, students representing New Egypt High School were Stephanie Holguin, Stephanie Partyka, James J. Levanduski and Danielle Wolenski.

Also in attendance were Theodore Figula commander, Ocean County American Legion; Ocean County Freeholder Director Joseph H. Vicari; Dyana Williams, president, Ocean CountyAmerican Legion Auxiliary; Michael Tash, Jackson Memorial High School faculty supervisor; and Cookie Haring, committee chairperson, Ocean County American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
