Howell Middle School North to perform 'Aladdin Jr.'

HOWELL - Seventh-grader Ethan Riepe and sixth-grader Alina Zimmerman will play the roles of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine in the Howell Middle School North Drama Club's production of Disney's "Aladdin Jr." The show will be presented May 15- 16 at 7 p.m. at Howell Middle School North, 501 Squankum-Yellowbrook Road.

"Aladdin Jr." is based on the screenplay by Ron Clements, John Musker, Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, with music by Alan Menken, adapted and arranged by Jim Luigs, and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.

Under the direction of Joan Mazzuca, Jennifer Hardy-Wiessel and Bonnie Deignan, "Aladdin Jr." tells the story of two independent and adventuresome characters in the city of Agrabah who discover true freedom in each other's different worlds.
