Elks spaghetti dinner will benefit accident victim

The Jackson Elks Lodge 2744, 1059 E. Veterans Highway, Jackson, will host a benefit spaghetti dinner 5-9 p.m. July 11. The cost is $10 per person. Proceeds will help defray medical expenses for Larry Stanecki, who was rear-ended June 20 by an 18-wheel tanker-truck and was ultimately run over and pinned under his own 10-wheel crane truck. He is currently in the hospital undergoing extensive medical testing. Stanecki's injuries include breaking his back and bones in his legs, toes and pelvis. All proceeds and donations from the dinner will help to defray the cost of his medical care.

Karaoke entertainment will be provided by The Karaoke Chicks from 8 p.m. to midnight.
