The Township Committee also appointed new members to the Recreation Committee - local residents Fred Dempsey and Rocco Natalicchio; and Planning/Land Use Board member Walt Bronson was appointed to also serve on the township's Municipal Utilities Authority. Dancer said residents are encouraged to attend and support the return of Cruz Nite, featuring the display of classic and antique cars, to downtown New Egypt's Main Street, on the second Thursday of each month, from July 10 through Sept. 11 (6-9 p.m.). The next event on the Plumsted Council for the Arts summer series will be on July 12, 1-4 p.m., in downtown New Egypt, where guests can linger over lunch at the Taster's Canvas and enjoy the blues with live entertainment and the music of Bakin' Fat. The next regularly scheduled public meeting of the Township Committee will be held Aug. 6 at 8 p.m. |
