Holy Family names principal

LAKEWOOD — When students walk through the doors of the Holy Family Elementary School in September, a new principal will be at the helm.

Robert Andrews has been appointed principal of the school.

Andrews earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Peter's College in Jersey City. He has since completed a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration at Fordham University and his Doctor of Education degree in Education Leadership from Seton Hall University.

Andrews has worked in the public school sector in Montvale as the assistant to the superintendent, in Marlboro as an assistant principal, and in Howell as an assistant principal as well as a principal.

His most recent position was as a faculty member at Georgian Court University, Lakewood, where he served as the chairman of graduate educational leadership programs.

According to a press release from Holy Family, Andrews understands the value of a Catholic faith-based education in society and is looking forward to working with the students, parents, faculty and staff members.
