Stephen J. McIntyre Jr.

Mr. McIntyre Jr., 84, of Jackson and formerly of Lakewood, died Sept. 21, 2008, at Bartley Health Care in Jackson. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he was a carpenter for the GAF Corp. and E.I. DuPont, both in Linden, before his retirement. He was predeceased by his wife, Carmella McIntyre. Mr. McIntyre is survived by two sons, David McIntyre and his wife, Loretta, of Chesterfield, and Stephen J. McIntyre III of Forked River; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt. Interment was at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arnytown, Burlington County.
