Jackson will host Safe Halloween event

Jackson's 2008 Safe Halloween event will be held at the municipal building, 95 West Veterans Highway, 1-4:30 p.m. Oct. 31. There will be entertainment by Mr. Scott the Music Man and treats from 1:10-1:45 p.m. Then from 2-2:30 p.m., Witch Craft Comedy and Conjuring will brew up some magic tricks and illusions in which the audience will be able to participate. And from 2:45-3:30 p.m., "Lizards, Snakes and Frogs, Oh My!" will feature live scary creatures close enough to touch.

From 3:35-4:15 p.m., children will be able to enjoy "The Wonder of Magic" with magic tricks and illusions. Children will be able to go from office to office for trick or treat.
