      Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation, 175 Bartley Road, Jackson, is participating in the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program through Dec. 12. Members of the community are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped gifts for boys and girls ages infant through 15 either to the main lobby of Bartley Healthcare or to the entrance of the subacute unit at the same address.       Peter M. Crincoli III of Toms River recently attended and successfully completed a week of training at Knights of Columbus Insurance International Headquarters in New Haven, Conn.

      Crincoli services Knights of Columbus Council 6201 Howell/Jackson and Council 11529 St. Monica's, Jackson.

      As a field agent, Crincoli is required to stay on a rigid educational track and continually improve the quality of service he provides to members.

      During the training, held Oct. 14-16, Crincoli received instruction on explaining the benefits of life insurance, annuities, long-term care and estate planning to his clients and their families, in addition to supplemental courses in ethics, marketing, technology and compliance.

      The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal benefits society with more than $73 billion of insurance in force. Additionally, the Knights of Columbus has donated more than $1.325 billion to charity and provided nearly 626 million hours of volunteer service in support of charitable initiatives worldwide.

      Sapphire Tans will be holding its annual food drive through Dec. 31. All items collected will be donated to the Freehold Open Door Food Pantry and to the Howell Emergency Food Pantry. Find "wish lists" by visiting the Internet website at www.SapphireTans.com. Bring in a food item on Saturdays and Sundays during the food drive and receive a free tan upgrade.       Mandee Shops announced that its stores will be the exclusive partner this holiday season for Soles4Souls, the international shoe charity dedicated to providing shoes to people in need. Now through Dec. 24, all 120 Mandee stores, including the store at 4051 Route 9 north, Howell, will be collecting donations of gently worn shoes. As a thank you for participation, each customer who donates will receive a 20 percent off discount coupon toward an item of their choice. In addition to collecting shoes, Mandee will collect a $1 donation at the register from any customer who chooses to provide further support to Soles4Souls. Soles4Souls has given away more than 5.5 million pairs of new and gently worn pairs of shoes to date.
